X-Bow coach

X-Bow siege wins from your own side of the arena. Placement and protection are everything.

Updated

X-Bow decks place a long-range building near the bridge that can hit the opponent's tower from safety, then defend it with cheap troops and spells.

It's a precise deck. A badly timed X-Bow is a big elixir loss; a well-protected one can take a tower on its own.

What usually goes wrong

  • Placing X-Bow into a ready answerIf they have a tank or spell to reset it, the X-Bow just gives them a positive trade.
  • No defence left for the X-BowAn unprotected X-Bow dies to any tank or swarm walking up to it.

Playing against X-Bow

  • Send a tank to absorb its shots and pressure the opposite lane.
  • Track their cheap cycle cards: X-Bow decks cycle fast back to it.
  • Don't over-commit on defence; the X-Bow is the threat, not the troops around it.

A plan for your next match

  1. 01Track the opponent's tank and big spell before placing X-Bow.
  2. 02Keep elixir for one defending card after the X-Bow goes down.
  3. 03Use cheap cycle cards to bring X-Bow back when they're low.
