Elixir management coach
Most lost matches are lost on the elixir bar before they're lost on the tower. An elixir coach shows you where yours went.
Updated
Elixir is the only resource both players get at the same rate. Whoever spends it better, defending cheaply and attacking when the opponent can't answer, usually wins, even with weaker cards.
The hard part is that elixir mistakes are invisible in the moment. You only feel them thirty seconds later, when a push lands and you have nothing to drop. Reviewing the match afterwards is how you see them.
What usually goes wrong
- Sitting at full elixirWaiting for the perfect play while the bar is full throws elixir away. Even a cheap card in the back keeps the bar moving.
- Overspending on defenceAnswering a 3-elixir push with 7 elixir of troops leaves you behind, even if your tower takes no damage.
- Pushing into a full barAttacking when the opponent has 9 or 10 elixir gives them the cheapest possible defence and a free counter-push.
- Losing track of their spendIf you don't count what they just played, you can't tell when they're low and a push will land.
What Mercina looks for in your match
- Elixir leaked across the match, so you can see whether you're wasting the bar.
- The moments where you over-committed to a push or a defence, timestamped.
- Whether your big plays came when the opponent was low or high on elixir.
A plan for your next match
- 01Never sit at 10. If you're full, play a cheap card at the back.
- 02Before each push, count what the opponent spent in the last few seconds.
- 03Defend with the fewest elixir you can, then build a counter-push from what survives.
Mercina writes a plan like this from your own match, every time.
Questions
What is a positive elixir trade?
Spending less elixir to answer a play than your opponent spent making it. Stopping a 5-elixir push with 3 elixir puts you 2 ahead.
How does Mercina measure elixir use?
It reads your recorded match and reports how much elixir you leaked, then pins the moments where your spending cost you to the second they happened.
